War occurs when there is a difference in opinion or when peace is disrupted by few people who believe their voices would be heard not by dialogue but by fighting. A war can erupt between family members, community, a country or even between nations. During such times many people are affected either directly or indirectly, either physically, emotionally, spiritually and economically.
The people affected are majorly left homeless, stressed and depressed and many a times countless deaths. In such moments, you should turn your eyes and look upon Jesus for protection, strength, providence, courage and peace. Dear Heavenly Father,
I humbly come before You with a heart burdened by the chaos and conflicts around me. I choose to place my trust in You, my Protector, Provider and Sustainer. You are the Almighty God, my refuge and fortress, and I believe that in You, I am safe.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your protection and peace promises. Your Word assures me that even in the midst of war, you are present. I hold onto Your promise in Psalm 91, that You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings, I shall take refuge. You are my shield and I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for we know that in Him, we are more than conquerors. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come in its fullness. Until that day, Lord, give us strength to persevere, courage to stand firm, and hearts filled with hope.
I entrust my life, my family and the nation into Your hands, for You alone are God. I give You all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore.
